All of the Northern New Mexico watersheds are too numerous for this venue. Above are the featured nine watersheds that I have chosen with their major tributaries that are high-quality trout waters. You can either scroll the watershed menu items to the left or click the links above to access the watershed you wish to visit. Once there you will find descriptions for each area.

PLEASE NOTE: Effective April 30, 2010 this web site will no longer have a Members Only section. This section was setup for a one-time fee and in the past two years I only have sold about 6 subscriptions and the logistics of managing all the subscriptions I have received over several years does not justify keeping this as a paid service. The gentleman from Los Alamos who registered in December-January?...I am willing to give you a refund if you feel I should. All of the others have been on-line for some time now.

Over the next 3 months this web site will be completely redesigned incorporating the members only section. The site will continue to be an informational site and a means to promote my web design business. Sorry for any inconvenience to to anyone. Continue to feel free to contact me with any questions about fly fishing in Northern New Mexico waters.

The Members Only section has expanded detailed descriptions of Northern New Mexico trout streams, photos of all of the areas, area maps and which fly patterns have been consistently successful for me over the years in the featured areas available for use from this web site.

Go to the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish site under Fishing Regulations and go to "Special Trout Waters Regulations" for the current special regulations for some of the watershed descriptions as mentioned. You can also obtain a Fishing Proclamation at a local vender or on the internet.

I also have road maps that I have drawn for this site which can be used for directions to the respective watershed areas. The hand drawn road maps are not to scale and are only intended to be used as a guide. It might be a good idea to print the map for the area that you are interested in and view the map while you are reading the description to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the area.
